The ceremony was presided over by Archbishop Simon of Brussels and Belgium. He was assisted by the parish rector, Father Dimitri Yatsun; the rector of the parish of Saint Matthew the Apostle in Leuven, Archpriest Alexander Yavorovsky; the rector of the parish of Saint Michael the Archangel in Mons, Father Alexander Nichiporuk; and the rector of the parish of Saint Anne the Just in Brussels, Father André Pope; as well as deacons Vladimir Shitikov, Oleg Ageenko, Stefan Devruy, Daniil Dobrovinsky, and Maxim Burla.
The festive songs were performed by the diocesan cathedral choir, conducted by Elena Lanskaya.

At the end of the ceremony, a religious procession took place around the church carrying the relics of Saint Seraphim of Sarov.

In his speech, Archbishop Simon thanked the parishioners and the rector for the positive changes that had recently taken place in the church.

The celebration concluded with a convivial meal, during which many years of service were offered to the archbishop, the rector, and the parishioners.
