09-08-2025, Brussels Patronal Feast at the Church of Saint Anne the JustOn Saturday, August 9, 2025, a solemn ceremony took place at the Church of Saint Anne the Just in Brussels on the occasion of the patronal feast. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by Archbishop Simon of Belgium and Brussels, assisted by the church's rector, Priest Andrei Popa, and Deacons Vladimir Gabernik, Ilya Tonku, and Maxime Burla. After the ceremony, the faithful marched in procession around the church, reciting prayers and hymns. In his homily, the Archpastor recalled the lives of Saints Joachim and Anne the Just, emphasizing their humility, faith, and patience, which became an example for Christians. The Archbishop also highlighted the annual positive changes in the church and thanked the rector and parishioners for their work and care for this holy place. The youth choir, singing liturgical songs with prayerful inspiration and warmth, added a special atmosphere to the celebration.
