16-05-2025, Brussels Vandalism at the construction site of the church in LiegeOn the night from Thursday to Friday, May 16, unknown persons set fire to the church under construction in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Life-Giving Spring" in Liege. Since there is no electricity or flammable materials at the construction site, the arsonists poured flammable liquid on the formwork beams for pouring concrete. This was done from below, so that visible traces of this liquid remained on some of the standing beams. The firefighters who arrived verbally concluded that it was arson. An investigation is underway.           |
