The Holy Epiphany Parish moved to a new location.
On September 28, the final Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Grand Seminary of Mechelen, concluding the four-year tenure of the Holy Epiphany Parish in this blessed place.
Thanks to the support and fraternal care of the Catholic Church vicariate, particularly Bishop Koen van Houten, as well as the administration of the Grand Seminary and the sisterhood residing there, the parish was able to find a spiritual and prayerful haven here.
After moving and settling into its new location, the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated on October 5 at the Church of St. John the Baptist in Tyselt, eight kilometers from Mechelen.
Longtime friends of the parish—Deacon Koen Jacobs of the Catholic Church, the chairman of the church council, and parishioners of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Tyselt—attended the service.
After the service, the parish rector presented small gifts as a token of gratitude to everyone who had provided assistance and hospitality during the move and establishment of the parish in its new location.
The service concluded with a communal meal, during which parishioners and guests shared memories and discussed the prospects and challenges of serving in the new parish.
