Pilgrimage to Georgia.

From October 5th to 12th, a group of parishioners from our diocese made a pilgrimage to the holy sites of Orthodox Georgia. The group was led by Priest Andrei Popa, rector of St. Anne's Church in Brussels.

Over the course of the week, the pilgrims visited numerous churches and monasteries, including Bagrati Cathedral (Kutaisi), Holy Trinity Cathedral (Tbilisi), Sioni Cathedral, Metekhi Church (Tbilisi), and others. The pilgrims also visited the renowned monasteries of Motsameta, Vardzia, Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino, Gergeti, Stepantsminda, Samtavro, Shio-Mgvime, Jvari, and others.

A special highlight of the trip was the delivery of icons in honor of the twelve great feasts. These icons were painted by a Georgian iconographer specifically for the Church of St. Anne, and the funds for their creation were entirely raised and donated by the parishioners themselves.

Upon arrival, the icons were installed in the church with the active participation of the parishioners. The following Sunday, October 19, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the church's renovated interior, bringing special spiritual joy to all worshippers.
