Young people from the Mechelen parish visited the Romanian community in Antwerp.

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 1, a youth group from the Holy Epiphany Parish in Mechelen had the joy of meeting with peers from the Romanian Orthodox community in Antwerp. About thirty young people gathered to spend several hours together in an atmosphere of friendship and brotherly fellowship.

The meeting began with an entertaining program - a bowling session that brought many smiles, joy, and the opportunity to make new acquaintances. This was followed by a shared dinner, during which conversations interspersed with laughter, stories, and fellowship among the young people.

A special conclusion to the evening was participation in the evening service at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Antwerp. The service was held in three languages - Dutch, Romanian, and Russian - a vibrant symbol of unity and community in the Orthodox faith.

Such meetings help young people deepen their faith, recognizing that they are not alone in their spiritual quest, and that there are other young men and women around the world who share the same yearning for God. We hope that such meetings will become a good tradition, a source of inspiration and faith strengthening for all who strive to live a Christian life.
