A Christmas tree at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Brussels.

On January 11, 2026, a Christmas and New Year's performance for the parish children was held at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Brussels. Following the Divine Liturgy and Holy Communion, the young parishioners were invited to the bright and welcoming refectory, where a festive meal had been prepared especially for them.

Following the children's meal, the children were greeted by fairytale guests—Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, played by parishioners. Accompanied by festive music, the children joyfully danced in circles, sang Christmas carols and hymns, and enthusiastically participated in fun competitions and games. The play area was decorated with artificial snow, creating a special winter holiday atmosphere and bringing genuine delight to the children.

The bright moments of the celebration were captured in memorable photographs, which will long remind the participants of their joyful reunion. Guests expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and participants of the performance, with warm wishes for a new meeting in the coming year. Such events not only bring joy and comfort to children but also contribute to the preservation of spiritual traditions, strengthening the parish community and uniting everyone into a single church family.
