Epiphany in Ostend.

On January 18th and 19th, the Parish of St. John the Theologian, apostle and evangelist, held festive services in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord with the Great Blessing of Water. With God's help, many parishioners were able to attend the Divine Liturgy and receive Holy Communion on January 19th, despite it being a weekday. Following the service, a small group of believers took a traditional dip in the North Sea, blessed by the parish rector, Archpriest Gennady Katamasvili.
We thank our choir and its choirmaster, Mother Evdokia (Inga Katamasvili), as well as the sisters who prepared the church and served the festive meal!
