Victory Day Celebration at St. John the Theologian Parish.

On May 9, the Russian Orthodox Church commemorated the fallen soldiers. A Divine Liturgy and memorial service were held for the occasion at St. John the Theologian Church in Ostend.

As in the previous year, parishioners assembled an "Immortal Regiment" by bringing portraits of their relatives who fought in the Great Patriotic War.

After the service and a small memorial meal, we also visited the Kortemark cemetery and held a memorial service at the graves of Soviet citizens—prisoners of war—who died in Nazi camps located in Belgium.
