Pentecost in Brussels.

On the patronal feast day, Archbishop Simon of Brussels and Belgium celebrated the traditional service at the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Brussels. Before the service, His Eminence tonsured Evgeny Markovich Lupulyak as a reader.

Archbishop Simon was assisted by Vladimir Gabernik, the diocesan senior deacon, as well as by church clergy: Archpriest Pavel Nedosekin, deacons Yaroslav Makal, Maxim Burla, Ilya Tonku, Vladislav Tsabiev, and Priest Adrian Alaoui, rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a festive Vespers was held with the reading of kneeling prayers, with the participation of the Priest Alexander Tsabiev, who celebrated the early Liturgy in the church.

At the conclusion of the service, His Eminence awarded Priest Adrian Alaoui the Order of St. Seraphim of Sarov of the Second degree, on the occasion of his eightieth birthday. This award was bestowed upon him by His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus'.

In his address to those gathered, His Eminence thanked the clergy and choir for their shared prayer. He also acknowledged the children's choir, which sang hymns resoundingly during the service.

The celebration concluded with a communal meal, hosted by the parishioners in the crypt of the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.
