The Russian School held its end-of-the-school-year celebration.

This year the celebration was divided into two groups: junior and senior. The younger students performed first before lunch. The juniors prepared several costumed numbers, sang in chorus, and danced. After lunch, the seniors continued the celebration. They staged several plays on themes of school life and folklore. The school choir also performed. The end-of-the-school-year celebration is always a joyful occasion for the students. The students presented their work to the assembled parents and concluded the school year to loud applause. Everyone has grown up. The long-awaited holidays have arrived.

The parents thanked the teachers. They stated that classes at the Russian School provide clear progress for children learning Russian. The youngest children begin speaking Russian naturally and effortlessly. This is especially appreciated in mixed families. And in the senior grades, children learn to express their thoughts correctly in writing.

The Russian School has a wealth of historical experience. Founded in 1924, it is celebrating its 102nd anniversary. Many of its graduates received higher education in Belgium and held positions of responsibility as engineers, diplomats, doctors, and priests. They have contributed greatly to society, while maintaining an unbreakable connection with their homeland and native language.

We wish today's children great success in the coming school year.
